1-on-1 Sewing & Embroidery Lessons

Are you an artist or maker interested in expanding into textile and embroidery mediums?

Have you always wanted to make your own clothing?

Whether you are an artist using fiber and sewing for the first time, a part time hobbyist, or an aspiring fashion designer. I can help your embroidery, sewing, and garment making dreams come to life! Working 1-on-1 is perfect for those who have a specific project in mind that they need support with, those who don’t thrive in group classes, and those who want to set their own learning pace.

1-on-1 technical lessons are held at my studio in Philadelphia, PA. Depending on your needs, I may be able to offer limited remote lessons as well.

We’ll start with an intro call to get clear on what your goals and projects are and how I can support you. Then I will develop customized lessons just for you. Each lesson is a minimum of 2 hours. And we can meet as many times as needed.

My Experience

I have over 20 years of sewing experience. I earned a Masters Degree in Fashion and Knitwear design, and have worked as a freelance sample maker and tailor in the fashion industry in NYC, taught group courses, and have consistently made clothing for others and myself. My art practice for the last 10+ years has focused on detailed hand embroidery.

*In addition to technical lessons, I also offer trauma-informed mentorship. Learn how mentorship can support you here.
